Draft for review · September 18, 2026
Pulse is an information service. It reads publicly available ratings and review counts for Alaska businesses and computes a score from them. The score is our opinion, produced by a method we publish, from data we don't control. It is not a certification, a guarantee of quality, or a statement of fact about any business.
By claiming a business you confirm that you own it or are authorized to act for it. We may verify that, ask for more, or decline a claim. If two people claim the same business we decide who keeps it, and a claim backed by the business's own email domain or listed phone number takes priority.
The score, breakdowns and data on a business page are provided to that business for its own use. You may share them within your business and use them in your own marketing. You may not republish them as a ranking of other businesses, use them to disparage another business, scrape or bulk-collect data from the site, or represent Pulse as endorsing you. We may revoke access for misuse.
Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, DoorDash and other platform names are the property of their owners. Pulse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for any of them. Their ratings are shown on their own sites; we cite them, we don't reproduce them.
We work to keep the data accurate and current, but platforms change, listings get merged and split, and readings can be late or wrong. The service is provided as is. We aren't liable for decisions you make based on it or for losses arising from errors in it. If you think a reading is wrong, tell us and we'll check it.
Founding businesses receive Pulse for Business free for their first year. After that it is $100 a year, billed annually. We will email you before the first charge and before any change in price; you can cancel at any time and keep access to the end of the period you paid for. The public lookup and the methodology are free for everyone.
Sign-in links are personal; don't forward them. You're responsible for the people you add to your business. We'll email claimed owners about their score and about material changes to Pulse; you can unsubscribe from the monthly note at any time.
We can change or end the service, or these terms, and we'll give claimed owners notice by email of anything material. You can close your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
